Established his architectural practice in January 1989, as a partnership firm, Design A. The projects completed were group housing, residences and farm houses. JRA Design, was formed in January 2005, with his wife Kavita Jain. Integrating the spatial language of the landscape with the architecture of the built form & bringing in the spatial experience to the visual compositions, is integral to his approach to design
The approach is grounded in the conviction that great architecture is a response to the awareness and understanding of the environmental, social and cultural context of the project.

Kavita Jain’s experience in the field of Landscape Architecture spans a period of twenty five years. Her work in Landscape Architecture started with one of the best Landscape Architecture firms in India, M/s Shaheer Associates, where she worked on diverse prestigious projects across India.
Kavita’s endeavor as a Landscape Architect is towards solutions that enhance ecological richness, enables communities to come together in mutually supportive and enriching spaces, strengthening the human and nature relationship, towards the shared goal of ecological integrity and life affirming sustainable development.
